TSTDC on Effort to Improve Tourism


The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation called for bids recently on a tender for the improvement of tourist facilities to developed in next 12 months.once the bids are received then the necessary repair works and construction of new buildings and tourist facilities will be taken care by the corporation.The bid is concentrating to develop kaleshwaram village in karimnagar where Mukteshwara temple and Triveni sangamam are located.It is located about 277 km away from hyderabad close to borders of maharashtra and chhattisgarh.

The location of this temple coincides with two rivers godavari and its tributary pranahita.Under these two rivers is river saraswathi which flows and hence known as the triveni sangamam.It is also a centre for pushkaralu, which will be organised only once in 12 yrs.It is believed that the person who gets a dip of the water would be blessed by ods and his sins would be relieved.It is said that the next pushkaralu is to commence on december 2015.Torism officials have confidently said taht the work would be finished at the time scheduled.

It would be a better experience for the devotees and tourist who flock to the temple during Pushkaralu with the modernisation and the new construction facilities.Officials also said that they are in communication with the RTC officials also to improve the connectivity towards the temple.
