Two States Clashed at Nagarjunasagar Dam

Two-States-Clashed-at-NagarHyderabad: The states clashed with lathis at the Nagarjunasagar dam. The water war for control over the dam, some of the policemen has minor injuries. As the meetings were failed during the day, the police forces attacked each other with sticks. And both the states cops alleged the other group into their area.

The police claimed that Telangana irrigation staff, along with state cops and stop water being released and they tried to restrain them. They started at 6.30 Pm and despite power being cutoff, the cops continued to fight and the battlefield done.

And other police officers also had taken steps to control it.

Miryalaguda DSP Mr Sandeep said “Four to five constables of Telangana police sustained minor injuries. As the injuries are minor they were given first aid. We were in our area and the AP police trespassed into our area. Senior officials are talking to each other”.

Guntur rural superintendent of police Ramakrishna said, “There are no injuries may be small scratches. We are at the spot and the situation is now peaceful and we are in discussions”.

“We are exercising a lot of restrain. We are hoping that an amicable solution will be reached with talks at proper level.”
