Robo is man-made but the work what it does in seconds takes hours and days for a man. At this rate a robo is equivalent to 100 men. In the same breath if updated robos are developed later, they shall be the real threat to the creator – human and the man power becomes obsolete in days to come, warn experts. In the beginning they were used as receptionists or security guards and now a kind of powerful reflex arc has been developed in them so much so that they respond to the command given by its owner. Further, scientists had been sharpening their response systems too in an attempt to enhance their quality turnout. Big companies are enamoured of employing the machines once and for all as they work without a monthly pay, bonus, weekly off, sick leave, earned leave, PF, gratuity, and so on. And no strikes, no protest demonstrations and no late coming among others, and what it means is something unimaginable. Capitalists welcome such an invention and drift.
Thus they became popular in reputed hotels, companies and to the surprise of all they are employed in the kitchen also. So, right from receptionist, jobs were going to the man made machines. Now where do we stand ? In Japan pepper robos work in banks, interact with customers and assist them in their transactions. By and large they pose as a challenge to their creators in all spheres of life – kitchen, banking, marketing, factories, telecom centres, customer care centres, and the list seems to be endless. Some foreign companies were terminating staff services including in the editorial departments of the news paper offices. Robos were writing stories. It must be seen to be believed. But it is said to be a fact and not a wonder. It takes some more time to import robos in the sub-continent. However, sources said that some big houses prefer robust to man as the intellectual machines take instant commands from big bosses and consummate the assigned job silently. If that comes about unemployment rises beyond the control.
