Unused land to be retrieved by T-govt

government-of-TelanganaThe state government of Telangana has now decided to take back the unused land from the private firms. The operation will resume soon this month and Hyderabad and Rangareddy are mainly focused during the course.

16 acres of prime land on Jubilee Hills Road No. 7 had been retrieved by the state government on July 5. The land was left unused for three decades by the AP Film Development Corporation.

The government lately ordered to survey the unused land in Hyderabad and Rangareddy.

100 acres have been traced so far by the Revenue officials in the limits of HMDA that is estimated at Rs 1,000 Crore at current market value.

Lands were allotted to the private firms by the erstwhile state on the condition of creating jobs, but the land remained unused by many firms, especially the IT firms which attained the land during 1998 102013.
