Senators Tim Kaine from Virginia, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Near Eastern and South and Central Asian Affairs and Angus King from Maine, a member of the Senate Armed Services and Intelligence Committees will travel to India.
They would be travelling to Delhi and Mumbai from October 6th to 11th. The main motto of their visit is to meet senior defense and foreign affairs officials and pay their respect to the victims of 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai. They also wanted to highlight regarding the ‘Robust US Indian ties’ with leading Indian and American business leaders.
The Senators will meet the senior Indian defense and foreign affairs officials, Members of Parliament, and leading strategic commentators, at Delhi.
