VCs Bill: Governor and Govt are not different, says KCR

kcrCorruption has entered in the recruitment of VC’s said the Chief Minister of Telangana K.Chandrashekhar Rao. Speaking in the assembly on the amendment bill of Ambedkar Open University he said that the recruitment process of VC’s is not transparent. Mr. Rao informed the august house that he spoke to the Governor on this issue and Mr Narasimhan was convinced. Since the new state of Telangana has been carved from Andhra Pradesh , Mr Rao said that its time to modify the existing laws and create new laws in the interest of Telangana people. In this context, the CM said that he had requested the acting Chief Justice of High Court Mr. Dilip.B. Bosale to relieve few Judges so that they can be taken as vice-Chancellors in order to strengthen the universities. “There is nothing that we want to get benifitted politically as I’m ready to consider to appoint the the Opposition leader to be a part of the proposed committee on appointment of VC’s” clarified the CM
