N Chandrababu Naidu the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister outburst over Centre failing to address the issues related to AP while presented Union Budget 2015 didn’t go down well with BJP Central Leadership.
Venkaiah Naidu soon stepped into action to sort out the issue.
The Union Minister talk to the AP CM over phone and asked him not to express his grievance publicly on the raw deal to AP in Union Budget.
The minister suggested Chandrababu to express the injustice meted out to AP in the meeting with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
Today during the press conference held the Union Minister admitted that Rs 100 crore offered for Polavaram Project in the budget is a matter of concern.
Venkaiah Naidu blames State Government for failing to submit detailed project report to Centre for higher allocation. He recalls that since the time he was an MLA in 1978, Polavaram project was pending, Naidu faults Congress Governments for neglecting it completely.
