About 2,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid, left Moscow for Luhansk today. About 300 lorries are carrying the cargo which includes tonnes of grain, baby food, and medicine. It is reported atleast 1,500 have died during the conflict between the Ukraine and the Pro-Russian rebels. This Humanitarian aid will give relief to the civilians trapped in the land held by Pro-Russian Rebels.
This Humanitarian aid is looked by many as a cover to prepare and invade Eastern Ukraine. The West has made it loud about this possibility.
Sensing the delicate situation the Ukraine Security council spokesman Andriy Lysenko suggested, that the aid should be accompanied by Red Cross officials, and should pass through a government-controlled border post
