Whistle-blowers, Fishermen, Seemandhra… T hurdles go on

rs1

The Rajyasabha is witnessing unprecedented heat on Telangana issue. The Deputy Chairman Sri Kurien is utterly unable to control the house. All around the Chair are Seemandhra leaders with posters for and against Telangana. KVP, Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, et al are holding posters for United Andhra Pradesh. Gundu Sudharani, TDP MP from Telangana is holding a huge poster asking for passing the T Bill, along with a clear sign of Telugu Desham Party.

The Tamil Nadu MPs are asking for discussion on the Fishermen issue which has suddenly blown into an international hotspot with Italy announcing to go to International courts. Even they are surrounding the Well. The House was scheduled to discuss on the proposed bill for security measures for Whistle blowers across India. The DC was pursued by Javadekar and Ravi Shankar Prasad of BJP to start discussion on Telangana, as the opposition does not want to be blamed for stalling Telangana at this stage.

Under the commotion, the Deputy Chairman could do nothing but postpone the House again for half hour. What next?
