As the heated exchanges between the ruling and the opposition parties reached crescendo in the AP Assembly on the issues of call money and Roja’s suspension, the YCP walked out. As the YCP leader Jagan threatened to stall the proceedings unless suspension on Roja was revoked, the minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu ruled out the demand. The minister said that the opposition was welcome to go to court over the issue. Criticizing that the ruling party was insulting the opposition, Jagan walked out.
As the House met, the AP chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, other ministers and members of the ruling party wished Mr. Jagan ‘happy birthday.’ Jagan thanked them.
