Yeddyurappa resigns as Karnataka CM before trust vote

Bengaluru, (IANS) Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa resigned on Saturday before facing a crucial trust vote in the Karnataka Assembly with numbers stacked against the BJP in the newly elected House.

The resignation came two days after he took oath as the 15th Chief Minister of the state.
