The opposition YSRC has issued a whip to all its members to be present in the Assembly on March 29 and 30th and vote against the government on the appropriation bills. The whip will be applicable to the eight MLAs who defected to Telugu Desam recently. The whip will be informed to the eight defectors as well either through phone or through letter. If they are not present at their homes, a copy of the whip order will be pasted on the front door of their residences, a party spokesman said today. This is an attempt to nail down the MLAs and also to mount pressure on the government and the Speaker to expel them under anti-defection law. YSRC has already made two unsuccessful attempts to corner the government on the issue but government has tactically made the MLAs confine to their constituencies. They have not attended the Assembly at all.
Yet another attempt by YSRC to nail the defectors
