AP Government Disobeys the TS government decision

govOn Saturday Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan made a attempt to resolve the ongoing Eamcet fight between Telangana State and AP by convening a joint meeting of education ministers of both states.

It was suggested them to conduct Eamcet alternately each and both ministers said they would discuss the proposal again with their respective Chief Ministers.

TS Council of Higher Education decided to announc the schedule for its Eamcet .AP HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that no decision was taken but hoped a decision in the interest of the students would be taken at the earliest.

Mr Jagdish Reddy’s claims of the Governor being happy with the TS government’s stance of conducting Eamcet on its own for both states as the Governor’s office categorically stated that the Governor had not endorsed the stand of TS government. Meanwhile, with the TSCHE set to announce its own Eamcet schedule on Saturday evening, which leads the AP government decided to approach the High Court against the TS government decision. However, Mr. Narasimhan called for a joint meeting.
