Slackening of Central Funds Puts T Government Into Worry

tgThe recent cutting short of the state’s share from the five year plan has put the TRS led government into worry.

With a number of major projects lying unfinished, shortage of funds is going to further delay the commissioning of them.

Even though the Telangana government has been trying to be in good terms with the Centre, but such efforts have been proved futile.

According to the state finance ministry, the state was set to get Rs. 11, 000 crore as per the five year plan but it has got a mere Rs. 3000 crore.

The government has instructed the secretaries of various departments and the secretary of finance department in particular, to be in constantly in touch with centre, to pave the way for release of funds.
